Executive Assistant

DescriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to provide essential administrative and executive support for several equity investment team members. This requires an experienced professional who works well under pressure; is a self-starter with the ability to act independently and at times with limited information; maintains confidentiality; utilizes strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; and possesses excellent time management, organizational, prioritization and multi-tasking skills. This role requires a minimum of three (3) days in the Los Angeles office.RESPONSIBILITIESCalendar management for 3-5 team members.Plan and coordinate travel arrangements, including preparing travel itineraries and solving logistical issues.Preparing and reconciling monthly expense reports.Acting as an office-based support person to manage visitors, vendors, deliveries, office organization, etc.Assist in preparing meetings agendas and presentations, as needed.Answering telephone calls and referring callers.Perform and respond to ad-hoc requests from investment professionals.Collaboratively work across the organization in a team environment.Demonstrating sound decision making and proactive thinking which reflects an understanding of our business and priorities.Able to identify effective solutions and solve problems through troubleshooting.Proactive and independent problem solver who can work in fast paced investment environment.REQUIRED SKILLS2+ years of experience preferably in an investment management or financial services environment.Working Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook (calendar and email management).Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Ability to maintain and coordinate multiple Outlook calendars.DESIRED SKILLSA BS/BA degree or higher.Investment industry experience.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent computer skills and proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, especially PowerPoint and Excel.Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.Natural curiosity and desire to explore what is possible.Independent thinker, team player, entrepreneurial spiritBase Pay Range: $70,000-$80,000Salary Range for CA Candidates only. Actual based may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
