We are currently seeking candidates who are interested in an exciting career in Cardiac Surgery. With the expansion of the new Heart and Lung Institute opening in 2022, we are seeking experienced Registered Nurses who are looking for a challenging career on our exclusive Cardiac Surgery team.
As a nurse in one of our operating rooms, you will have the unique opportunity to partner with highly skilled surgeons and guide staff though multiple disciplines, develop close relationships with specialists and anesthesiologists alike, and be able to make a difference in the lives of thousands. You can expect to see the following types of cases: Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) on and off pump, Aortic Valve replacement(s) (both SAVR and TAVR), Mitral Valve Replacements and Repairs and many more.

Responsibilities:The role of the clinical nurse is to deliver patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs with the highest professional standard while promoting nursing excellence through continued education and research, based on the Title 22 and Title 16, the ANA Scope & Standards of Practice, the Code of Ethics.Qualifications:Education Background
- Graduate of approved nursing program.
Licensure, Registration, Certification
- Current California Registered Nurse License.
- Current BLS certification.
- Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon entry or transfer into job.
Work Experience
- Minimum 1 – 2 years recent experience
- Ability to Scrub and Circulate Cardiac Cases
