Controller
Privately Held company in based out of state is looking for a # 2 hands-on Controller to assist the CFO in all facets of the accounting process. Supports the AR/AP/Cash processes in addition to support with general ledger activities/month end close. Role will have high exposure into accounting/finance issues including access to some M&A activity and the introduction of a new accounting platform, with high visibility from the CFO and Executive Team. Experience
Relevant work experience in AR/AP/GL/Cash
Significant Accounting Close Experience – Reconciliations, Adjusting Entries, Financial Reporting (internal and stakeholder)
Desired Skills
Ability to work both independently while remote and help build a team
High Attention to detail and professional integrity
Ability to work on multiple levels (i.e. able to handle invoicing/collections, AP and cash management, accounting close thru financial reporting)
Critical thinker who can see the big picture and able to think outside of the box
Exposure to Accounting Systems
Ability to interface with all levels of employees and executive management, with a patient but focused approach to external customers
Experience in a private equity setting to include creation of management reporting documents
Requirements
BA/BS in Accounting/Finance
4-10 years’ experience
