In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing combat, stealth, and traversal mechanics for a AAA action adventure game. You will work closely with creative leads, technical designers and engineers, and use your knowledge of gameplay design to define the core experience.

Responsibilities

Working in Blueprint or C++ in Unreal Engine 5 and related data structures.

Running design meetings, creating pitches and writing technical briefs for gameplay mechanics.
Requirements

5+ years of experience as a game designer on a AAA project at any level, or at least 1 shipped title.

A strong knowledge of what makes a gameplay experience compelling, and what it takes to deliver that experience to players.

An understanding of the development process from concept to completion.
Bonus Points

Experience mentoring other designers as a lead or senior member of a design team.

Familiarity with testing strategies such as focus testing, A/B, and player data analysis.
