Pay Range: $90,000 to $120,000 annually Work Schedule: Monday
– Friday (Working hours range from 6:00am
– 6:00pm) This position is also required to help in the event of a plant upset and can result in working outside the hours provided.

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Technical leader in the zone to provide engineering support to the zone production plants.

Promote compliance with all applicable regulations and Group directives.

Champion company safety, technical and quality procedures.

Assist Plants with implementing and following Group, Division and Entity specific procedures.

Assist Plant Managers in the resolution of technical and operational issues.

Assist Plant Managers in the investigation of operational incidents, the development of corrective and preventive actions.

Participate in the creation, updates and reviews of PHAs, P&IDs, MOCs and SOPs.

Active participation in plant reliability teams.

Lead plant efficiency evaluations and monitoring to drive down production cost or increase throughput.

Monitor plant performance and drive improvements Assist with equipment component repair specifications necessary to improve efficiency and reliability Manage minor projects (upgrades and retrofits as well as plant improvements and expansions) at existing locations.

Develop designs, cost estimates, and economic justifications to facilitate the decision-making process at the plant and zone levels.

Generate authorization for capital requests and follow-up on the approval process.

Oversee project execution with the Plant Manager so that the end result meets the original requirements, in a timely manner and within budget.

The position will require the ability to lead a collaborative work effort and balance financial goals with support for the organization.

Serve as Operations Representative, participate in the design and execution phases of new Corporate level projects to ensure that operational concerns are addressed during design, construction and commissioning.

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree In Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical) preferred.

3-7 years of operational or engineering experience required.

Skill Set/Knowledge/Expertise: Solution-oriented, with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Technical expertise in operation and maintenance of Air Separation Units, Carbon Dioxide, VSA or Oxygen/Nitrogen Generation plants.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to perform under stress and time constraints.

Comfortable in both Corporate and Field environments.

Travel and Physical Requirements:
● Minimum 25% travel is possible and ability to travel on short notice is required.

● Has full range of motion and ability to lift 50 lbs.

● Must be reachable 24/7.

Communication and/or Critical Thinking Skills:
● Ability to write routine business reports and business correspondence in English.

● Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees and/or customers.

● Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

● Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals using the English language.
