What you will do This role will be responsible for implementing and managing Human Resources application processes and systems to best achieve Clarios objectives.
The role requires the ability to identify HR application requirements in Workday and independently analyze, determine and deliver the technology solutions by serving as a Workday subject matter expert.
Position requires ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders to strategically align and operationalize programs at a global, regional and local level.
Collaborate with the HRIS Manager and Director on strategic planning for HR systems.
How you will do it Develop Workday system and ensure full deployment of system capabilities Partner with business customers, application support, and technical leads to determine needs and functional requirements Independently lead projects to a successful completion.
Ensure proper people and teams are involved in the project.
Effectively manages tasks, duties, resources, and issues Maintain HRIS system tables and data integrity within the Workday system(s) through query review and data analysis; follow up to ensure timely research and resolution of any data updates necessary or to address issues that may arise, and drive for process automation when practical.
Resource for lesser experienced team members; providing informal guidance to solve complex, non-routine problems Responsible for ensuring the system(s) performs according to approved specifications.
Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner Configure changes in HR systems aligned with business requirements and perform comprehensive testing with business units, applications support and system developers for overall functionality and technical quality of deliverables Assist in developing standardized work and support processes, tools, and methodologies that improve quality and efficiency of HR processes Maintain necessary documentation and training material related to processes, systems, and technologies Develop and maintain reports (standard, scheduled and/or ad hoc) to support business processes and to provide cross-functional departments with necessary HR data (i.e., worker reports, turnover reports, etc.) on a timely basis; work with functional end-users to define and specify requirements accordingly Support legal compliance reporting and requirements; develop and maintain reporting and compliance capabilities for EEO, AAP and OFCCP reporting requirements.
Escalate process change requests, system enhancements or any other major resource requests to department management and IT for approval/prioritization Work collaboratively with and communicate both verbally and written with multiple HR teams including HR operations, HR business partners and HR functional teams Partner with IT to design and implement business solutions for new requirements Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and best Human Resources/HRIS/Workday practices, applications and tools; make recommendations to improve current programs and processes.
Maintain awareness of HRIS trends in product and service development, delivery and support, and application of key technologies, and examine trends in information systems training, materials and techniques.
Participate in user group meetings/conferences.
What we look for Degree in Business, Human Resources, Management Information Systems or related area.
An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered Minimum of eight (8) years experience progressive Human Resources Information Systems experience to include query development, data analysis, testing and/or implementation of systems or applications, with a minimum 3 years Workday experience required Strong Workday proficiency required Cross-functional HR experience in Process, Security, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll Experience in the design, development and use of relational databases and reporting tools.
Strong understanding of database design, structure, functions and processes Fluency in English language both oral and written Functional knowledge in the application of technology to support and improve Human Resources management processes Proven ability to manage across functions and successfully engage and influence others outside area of control Project management experience including project planning and execution Experience with planning, leading and performing change management, communications, and training activities Excellent communication and presentation skills towards varying managerial and technical audiences Strong customer-focus and drives for excellence.
Ability to effectively organize, structure, prepare and/or present data.
Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy and strong organizational, and prioritization Commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
