Fast growing personal care product company looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join our operations team. This hybrid role is responsible for coordinating logistics of inbound/outbound inventory movement, and accurately tracking inventory in the MRP system. Candidate will work closely with members in the supply chain including procurement and planning, as well as other cross-functional departments within the organization.
Role and Responsibilities
Performs receiving functions in MRP system based on vendor documentation received
- Verifying accuracy of PO #s, quantity, etc for extensive sku count including components and finished consumer goods
- Assist with issue resolution as it relates to receiving and invoicing
Coordinate daily freight movement between vendors, CMs and warehouses
- Generate BoL based on packing slips received from vendors
- Send BoL to all parties (carrier, vendor/manufacturer, warehouse) and confirm
- Arranges other domestic transportation, as necessary
Assist Purchasing in reviewing inventory to be transferred from component warehouse to manufacturers to meet production deadlines
Review, update, and verify open order reports as necessary
Performs other related duties and assignments as required
Skills and Qualifications
· Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
· Purchasing and/or Logistics experience preferred
· Knowledge and strong utilization of Microsoft application such as Excel and Word.
· NetSuite or other MRP/data system experience a plus
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to multi-task and change priorities as required
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong analytical skills (data analysis, critical thinking, etc)
