As our Regional Trade Manager, Americas , youll support HIDs success by: Directly manage staff supporting Americas import, export operations and US export license program Provide strategic direction on Trade initiatives to regional fulfillment leads Provide leadership and guidance for Americas trade in support of companys international initiatives while satisfying applicable import and export laws Identify gaps in current practices and develop and implement appropriate compliance improvement plans Identify applicable preferential trade and customs programs to minimize companys duty spend.

Implement required procedures For new technologies and product transitions, manage the assignment of origin and classification according to local regulations Manage companys offering of applicable preferential trade and customs programs Identify and develop Trade systems and enhancements in support of compliant government reporting Track, report meaningful, actionable import/export trade metrics Support both internal and 3rd party import/export audits and inquiries Manage regional import/export licensing programs required for lawful transport to/from/withing the region Establish and manage all regional sites import/export procedures What we will love about your background: Experience/Ability to work in a matrixed organization Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment Analytical and strategic thinking Passion for setting and meeting aggressive goals String analytical capabilities Self-starter and independent worker Strong work ethic; unyielding integrity Able to detect gaps and implement the needed solutions.

Your Experience and Education include: Bachelor Science or Business Administration in Engineering or Supply Chain related field Combined 10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics and trade compliance in a high-tech manufacturing company Extensive experience in global HS classification, export control classification/licensing, origin determination, FTA qualification, customs programs, and customs valuation Working knowledge of the Export Administration (EAR), Customs and Border Protection (19 CFR), Census (15 CFR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) Ability to read and understand technical specifications of highly technical items such as RF/Encrypted products Who you are as a Leader: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Willingness to roll up sleeves and dive deep into tactical work when necessary.

Good interpersonal skills, willingness to learn and continue to grow professionally.

Strong team player and ability to work well with others.
