The Clinical Services Manager is responsible for the delivery of comprehensive clinically-based services.Responsibilities:Oversees and manages Clinical Department of the assigned project(s), to include case management, intake and therapeutic staffDirectly manages clinical subcontractors and other specialized program staff depending on site specifications. In the absence of Program Coordinator, will supervise Case Managers, Intake Specialists, Clinical Interns and other specialized program staff directly.Directly supervises the staff or contract Nurse and/or medical team.Monitors Case Managers caseloadsImplements relevant clinical-based case management processesPoint person in implementing procedures needed to get CARF and any other accreditationOversees the supervision of intern students which includes task assignment and weekly supervision, and adheres to university and licensing board standardsOversees client screening and intake for approvalReviews and provides feedback on client Individualized Housing and Employment PlansEnsures adherence to the clinically-based programmatic protocolsMonitors program track system for all clients in the programCollaborates with staff and community partners to bring and monitor needed services on-site to clientsLiaisons with on-site treatment providers and subcontractor agenciesPerforms periodic case file review and provide corrective action to case management staffSupervises Program staff in ensuring each file is audited monthly utilizing audit tools and reportsSupervises Program staff in ensuring all files are being maintained in accordance to funder and corporate requirementsSupervises Program staff in ensuring case notes are reviewed regularly of all Case ManagersFacilitates weekly interdisciplinary and case management meetingsProvides crisis intervention services as neededAddresses documented incident reportsParticipates in Housing Stability Plan meetings with staff and clientsOversees project/program budget in collaboration with Program Manager, Director of Behavioral Health, and Project DirectorProvides approval for supportive service requests, program fee/rent waivers, and pass requestsSupports Program staff in the collection of program fees/rent as a therapeutic toolOversees the implementation of the Phase and Track systemSupervises curriculum governing client groups or classesCreates and distributes a monthly menu of services to include classes, groups, transportation, food services and events.Collaborates with Program Manager to provide clinical guidance to Residential Assistant staffCoordinate and create yearly training schedule for all site staff. This includes a monthly training for all staff and individualized training for each position. This schedule should be submitted by June 15 of every year to be adhered to for the next fiscal year.Provides monthly training to all staff on different clinical expertise (this can be included in the yearly training schedule)Analyzes program trends that informs strategic planningReviews all discharges before they occur and sign off for completionConducts periodic individual and group supervision with front line staffAttends agency stakeholder meetingsEnsures that confidential and complete client records are maintainedFunctions as a Continuing Education Coordinator for the sitePerforms other duties as required. Staff who have a valid drivers license and meet company insurance requirements may be required to complete a provided driver training course and drive company vehicles for work-related activities to include client transportation.QualificationsRequirements:Masters Degree or higher preferred in Social Service field. Bachelors Degree in social service field with at least 5 years experience may substitute for Masters Degree. For Clinical Services Manager supporting the Outside the Wire program, Master’s Degree or higher are required.Clinical Services Manager supporting the Outside the Wire program must hold an active independent professional licensure in the state where site is located and meets requirements to supervise master level students, at a minimum.At least two years of experience supervising clinical/case management staffExcellent oral and written communication skillsProficiency in computer and information systemsProfessional manner and appearanceExperience working with homeless families or similar populationAbility to take general direction, work independently and within a teamAbility to work effectively with diverse group of clients, staff, and community membersKnowledge/experience working with homeless families preferredProgram-Specific Addendum Outside the WireFor the Clinical Services Manager working under the Outside the Wire program, the position has the following responsibilities/qualifications:The Clinical Services Manager will supervise staff and interns, oversee the therapy and outreach activities, and perform direct services as needed for Outside the Wire program both on community college campuses and in the local communities.
