Part Time Staff Research Associate I (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

A. Assist with general research activities
-Conduct literature reviews, generate summaries of literature searches, and maintain reference databases.
-Assist with access to datasets, data collection, entry/coding, and data cleaning.
-Maintain files/records related to review status and data collection.

B. Conduct interviews with research participants and assist with other data collection activities
-Locate, contact, track, and recruit prospective research participants.
-Screen and schedule interviews of prospective research participants.
-Conduct interviews and surveys using structured and semi-structured measures.
-Administer standardized instruments and tests, as trained, and according to manualized instruction.
-Maintain confidentiality of evaluation participant data and interactions.

C. Assist with report/manuscript/proposal preparation and submission
-Assist with data analysis.
-Prepare tables, figures, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
-Assist in the preparation of manuscript/poster and proposal submissions.

D. Administrative tasks
-Work collaboratively with fellow project staff to complete project tasks, to problem-solve, and to achieve identified goals and objectives.
-Attend to detail when creating agendas, taking notes, and preparing handouts and tables, etc.
-Maintain project collaborator and site email and mailing lists.
-Maintain orderly and accurate files and project documentation.
-Attend and contribute to internal project meetings with project investigator.
-Assist with human subjects with documentation and applications to Institutional Review Boards.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree is preferred.

11. Ability to question participants about sensitive behavioral issues, including drug use and criminal behavior, and frequency of high-risk behaviors is required. Frequent
12. Demonstrated knowledge of personal computers and relevant software programs (e.g., data entry, word processing, spreadsheets, qualitative data analysis software) such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required. Frequent
