Medicare Performance Administration Specialist | Remote

Responsibilities:The Medicare Performance Administration Specialist will report to the Manager of Medicare Performance Program Oversight and will focus on coordinating the administrative support of the Medicare Performance department.

With a focus on administrative coordination for the Medicare Performance Management plans in the areas of: Regulatory and Internal meeting preparedness including development of formal meeting agenda’s, presentations and collecting any necessary supplemental detail from other business areas.Coordinates notice of meetings and requests contributions of items for the agendaPrepares agenda, post meeting summaries and formal meeting minutesCreate, compile, proofread and revise meeting materials, including presentationsCoordinate document review between internal stakeholders as requested including consistent follow up to ensure deliverables are processed in a timely manner.Single point of contact for all departmental scheduling requests including internal and external meetings.Ensuring internal committee and business area review meetings occur at the defined cadence with appropriate quorums.Maintenance and tracking of regulatory submission calendars, including regulatory audit support coordination.Monitoring, routing and tracking of departmental electronic mailbox.Supporting on departmental travel arrangements as requested.Facilitating meetings including conference room arrangements and/or virtual meeting spaces.Tracking and coordinating office supply orders for departmental teleworkers.Adheres to AmeriHealth Caritas policies and procedures:Creates and supports an environment which fosters teamwork, cooperation, respect and diversity;Instills a work culture of continuous process improvement, innovation and quality; andDemonstrates and supports commitment to corporate goals and objectives.Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.Education & Experience: 1 to 3 years experience providing administrative/legal support in a healthcare environment.

High School/GED required.Experience in dictation and transcription in development of formal meeting minutes.Experience in development of formal presentations and other meeting materials.Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook and PowerPoint.Ability to type an average of 65 words per minute (WPM).Proven ability to work with a diverse group of people, including physicians, support staff, coworkers and management.Demonstrated ability to research issues and bring about resolution either directly or with the assistance of others.Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong elicitation and process documentation skills.Strong organizational and communication skills to build and foster effective relationships.Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, as needed.
