Position

Summary:

The Senior Manager, Digital Partnerships is responsible for finding new and interesting ways to distribute and market AEG Presents shows, venues and artists. From marketing opportunities with established partners to product integrations with technology companies, this individual will identify, secure and manage strategic partnerships that further Company and event objectives. The Senior Manager will collaborate with internal Marketing, Data, Legal, Product, Technology, Ticketing and Global Partnerships teams to develop ideas and drive success for partner activities.

Essential Functions:

Identify and conduct independent outreach to new partners that strategically align with Company’s digital objectives to further market AEG Presents’ portfolio of shows, venues and artists and create new business. Grow, negotiate and manage existing partnerships independently by creatively solving challenging problems, creating department efficiencies, and acting as the primary point of contact for partners to ensure support, satisfaction, and renewal. Track and analyze key partner metrics to identify best practices, and clearly communicate on findings and initiatives to internal and external stakeholders and upper-management teams. Develop and maintain close cross-functional relationships across the company and act as bridge between partners and internal stakeholders to promote internal synergy. Maintain current knowledge of relevant trends and news across music, entertainment, technology, and live event industries.

Qualifications:

Minimum education requirement of BA/BS Degree (4-year) in Marketing, Business Administrator or related field 5+ years of related work experience Experience working at or with technology and music companies and strong relationships within both industries Proven ability to source and execute partnerships using data to drive said decisions Strong understanding of digital landscape, from both product/technology (non-technical) and marketing perspectives Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects, creatively problem solve challenges and maintain attention to detail Excellent collaborator with a can do attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team Proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g., Outlook, Word, and Excel) and ability to learn required additional business systems as needed Must be willing to travel Must have passion for live music and tech Previous experience working in live music preferred AEG reserves the right to change or modify the employee’s job description whether orally or in writing, at any time during the employment relationship.
