Merchandise Assistant

Our client is a major discount fashion retailer currently seeking a Merchandise Assistant to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$19/hr – $20/hr

Position Overview:

The ideal Merchandise Assistant will be a resourceful, a go getter, and a team player. Great communication skills are required to be an effective Merchandise Assistant as well as knowing how to prioritize to be effective.

Responsibilities of the Merchandise Assistant:

  • Enter information in Excel and track orders
  • Build rapport with vendors and act as a liaison with vendors
  • Update the website and will work closely with the Marketing team
  • Manage samples and the sample room
  • Some administrative support as needed from time to time

Qualifications of the Merchandise Assistant:

  • Microsoft Office and Oracle experience
  • Detail-oriented and organized

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma
