Position Summary: We are an Independent Medical-Legal Evaluation firm looking for an experienced IT Technician to join our team. This is an onsite position with the possibility of a limited remote role after the probationary period has passed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Occasionally travel to other company locations for IT onsite assistance. Support, repair desktops, laptops, printers, tablets and other IT equipment. Support, troubleshoot various types of software and applications as administrator. Support, install and configure routers, switches, network hubs, and other network peripherals. Troubleshoot and repair network connectivity issues. Troubleshoot, repair VOIP hardware and software issues. Re-image Windows OS on desktops, laptops, and several other IT devices at the same time. Deploy new software as directed by IT Management. Set up equipment & accounts for new employees as directed. Maintain and create necessary Information Technology documentation as directed. Maintain, create Knowledge Base Articles and other IT Training materials. Manage relationships with communication suppliers (ISP, IT vendors) as directed. Organize, maintain an inventory of all software and hardware as directed. Follow company guidelines about email usage, disk space allocation, access rights, restrictions, and network security policies. Maintain a positive and professional attitude toward other employees and staff. Performs other duties and projects as assigned by IT Management and/or company Executives. Qualifications and Educational Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Technical Degree or certifications preferred. Two years previous experience in Information Technology role. Deep knowledge of Windows OS, 7, 8 and 10. Hands -on experience with VOIP Hands -on experience with Networking, i.e., VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc. Experience with Active Directory and RDS Experience with Google Suite Admin Experience with Microsoft Products such as Excel, Word, Sharepoint and AdminPortal. Experience with CRM Platform Basic knowledge in Apple MacOS Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and strong organization skills. Ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities. Ability to prioritize work to meet the needs of the company. Self-motivated and clearly focused on the tasks assigned to them Ability to quickly gain new skills and knowledge when faced with new challenges. Maintain composure while working under pressure. Excellent customer skills while giving support to non-tech users. Ability to lift 45 lbs. Friendly and courteous always. Reliable transportation – Occasionally travel to other company locations for IT onsite assistance.
