Hours could vary from 7 a.m.
to 7 p.m.
M-F and Saturday hours 8-12.Major Responsibilities:Provides reception and minor administrative services in support for Rehabilitation Department.Schedules initial evaluation for rehabilitation patients via phone, follow-up visits and walk-ins.
Adds patient name to pre-registration worklist.
Verifies insurance information and demographic information at first visit.
Updates information when needed or adds patient name to worklist for registration associates to update.Acts as a resource to patients and staff regarding insurance issues.Performs data entry functions.Maintains department inventory levels.Other duties as assigned.If assigned to the Fitness Center, duties also include activities with support programming and other services available at that site.Education/Experience Required:-High School education or equivalent -2-3 years office experience.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:Typing 30-40 wpm preferred -Basic PC experience.

-Analytical problem solving skills to resolve scheduling conflicts.CPR certified within 60 days of hirePhysicial Requirements and Working Conditions:-Ability to work various shifts and at offsite locations to accommodate staffing needs.
– Need to follow infection control policies and procedures.This requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 08/01/2014.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.
For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available.
