Job SummaryThe Record Center Specialist (RCS) Lead oversees the day-to-day workload of Record Center team members through hands-on direction and leadership.Primary Functions: Assign tasks and manage record center team members according to workload, in order to maintain accuracy, ensure security, and meet Access SOP standards and Client Service Level Agreements.Assist record center team members in daily operations through hands on direction.Maintain “tour-ready” status for the record center at all times.

Follow the 5S principles: Sort, Set in Order, Sweep and Shine, Standardize and Sustain.Promote and enforce safety and security policies and practices.

Ensure compliance with appropriate OSHA safety regulations.Maintain on-time performance for all record center activities as reported on monitors and other reports.

Notify Client Experience of all un-reconcilable exceptions within 48 hours.Ensure that the PDT Communicate & Process steps are completed by each team member prior to the end of the shift.Edit un-reconciled Communication Sessions each day and delete them upon completion.Ensure all team members complete and reconcile their daily activity report.Help train team members on systems, scanners, workflows and procedures and provide feedback on team member performance, as needed.Participate in interviews for new team members as needed.Maintain an available inventory of new boxes and supplies.Communicate regularly with direct supervisor to notify him or her of any potential issues, including but not limited to those relating to your job, or those relating to the client.Secondary Functions:Participate in safety and security drills and advise the appropriate manager of any violations.Know and understand defined role in the Company Disaster Recovery Plan.Travel between facilities when necessary.Collaborate with team members.Prepare and Update an “Urgent Notification” list and report all missing boxes.Other Responsibilities:Comply with all company policies and procedures.Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.Education and Years of Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required.3 years past work experience in a service industry and/or a team focused environment required.1 year prior experience leading service-oriented teams required.Certifications, Licenses, Credentials:NoneKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Must be skilled in operating a forklift and/or pick lift.Strong communication and presentation skills.Must possess basic computer skills.Must have basic supervisory skills.Ability to complete paperwork accurately and completely understand the importance of detail and accuracy.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Ability to adhere to and enforce all security procedures.Must have the ability to guide and educate team members on daily activities.Physical Requirements (lifting, etc.):Routine lifting of 20-50 pounds (100-400 containers per day).Routine scanning of materials.Overhead reaching.Routine bending and stretching.Routine pushing and pulling of boxes and pallet jacks.Able to operate forklift and/or pick lift.Must be able to climb stairs and use tools to maneuver materials.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment.
