Responsible for providing advice, coaching, counselling and problem solving to managers and employees.
Act as focal point to deliver human resources solutions in partnership with HR Centres of Expertise (CoE).
Build and maintain effective working relationships across the business units (BUs) as well as within the HR team.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities: The role of HR Business Partner as an integral part (virtual member) of the senior team for the areas they support (business units) by developing effective working relationships, influencing and challenging senior leadership on the development and delivery of their people plans in support of the achievement of the business area goals and people strategies.
Provide expert advice and coaching to leaders and employees that delivers best practice HR solutions to support the business area in conjunction with HR CoE’s as appropriate.
Design, research, develop and implement HR initiatives to support people strategies, using expert knowledge of the business unit, engaging with HR CoE’s as appropriate.
This would include proposing policy amendments, including advising HR GBS on feedback received from client groups and proposed solutions.
Drive all HR initiatives within client groups including merit increase process, promotion cycles, job leveling, ways of working, talent management programs, diversity, equity & inclusion initiatives, change management initiatives etc.
Identify individual and collective needs and provide feedback to the HR CoE’s and develop those plans in partnership.
Embed a performance management culture within the client group as a means of driving business improvement, work in partnership with the business to manage employee relations (ER)/Industrial relations (IR) issues, building management responsibility and capability for managing ER/IR issues and improve the effectiveness of employee consultations.
Identify short, medium and long term resourcing issues, in line with people plans and strategy.
Challenge internal partners on new roles and replacement strategies as appropriate in line with ways of working, job levelling etc.

Knowledge of employment laws and regulations of the applicable area.
Ability to interface with, influence and inspire confidence in key partners across businesses, geographies, and levels.
Some overseas travel may be required.Required Experience, Qualifications & Education: Minimum 5-7 years of Human Resource generalist or manager Experience in coaching, facilitating and ability to coach & influence strong personalities at all levels.
Experience in developing HR strategy in line with business needs and company guidelines/policies.
