Compensation Analyst

Job Description Position: Compensation Analyst Location: Philadelphia, PA/Hybrid Duration: 6 Months Duties: solid experience in salary benchmarking and job evaluation is key, plus experience in using MarketPay, JDExpert and Workday.

Someone who is used to working on a highly past faced, multiple project environment will also be good.

Data Analytics skills/competency is a plus.

We are looking for someone who: Can independently complete a compensation market evaluation for a new or updated job description Can identify internally comparable roles to a given job Can recommend appropriate pay rates for new hires Job Summary: Compensation is CLIENT’s single biggest expense and a primary driver of whether employees join or feel valued by an organization.

The Compensation team consults with business leaders to ensure this massive investment in the people who come to work at CLIENT is allocated equitably and sustainably, and that the programs we develop meet the needs of our ever-changing business and workforce.

bout the Role: This role is an opportunity for an individual who is both analytical and collaborative to be a part of measuring, improving, and building CLIENT’s Compensation programs and processes.

This position will work alongside a group of Compensation Consultants to learn the discipline and provide analytical and technology administration support.

Job Responsibilities: Business Consultation Provides data analysis, market competitive assessments and cost estimates as coached by Compensation Consultants Participates in assessing appropriate pay grades for new jobs / revised jobs; implements agreed upon changes in relevant systems ssists with preparing materials, scheduling, and coordinating follow-up for consultative sessions with business leaders under the direction of Compensation Consultants Researches and directly responds to managers’ routine pay-related questions; partners with team members to answer more complex questions Technology Administration ctively approves and audits compensation transactions and pay rates to ensure they are aligned with policy and paid out correctly; uses problem-solving to resolve routine issues, collaborating on complex issues Serves as a point person for implementing mass pay changes in Workday Supports CLIENT’s participation in annual and ad hoc compensation surveys, Project & Operations Support Supports annual pay range updates and merit and bonus planning & administration ssists with maintaining and updating various communication and educational resources ssists with regular compensation audit activities May participate in a variety of Compensation projects and initiatives Proactively highlights process and program improvement opportunities Additional Technical Requirements dvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel to include pivot tables, v-lookup and advanced formulas Mathematical and data analysis skills Proactive problem-solving skills Technology aptitude and learning ability Strong oral and written communication skills Proficiency using MS Office applications Collaboration and consensus building skills High level of accountability and ability to work independently Flexibility and adaptability Required Education: Bachelor’s degree Preferred Experience: Prior work experience in Human Resources or Finance.

Prior experience working with HRIS systems or Kronos.
