Talent Acquisition Recruiter

Job Title Talent Acquisition Recruiter Department Human Resources Primary Responsibilities Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Director, the Recruiter is responsible for the execution of all aspects of recruitment and staffing for the organization across sites.

The Recruiter must be prepared to work independently as well as within the HR department.

His/her primary responsibility will be to support internal clients throughout the full cycle recruitment process.

Tasks Performed Identifies the most effective methods for recruiting a specific job opening and utilizes knowledge to create an innovative recruiting plan and strategy to source, attract, and hire the very best talent available.

Screen resumes and prospects, qualify, interview, and manage candidates throughout the interview process, from prepping before interviews to assisting with final offer negotiation.

Collaborates with hiring managers to understand the recruitment needs and ensure that candidates are assessed according to the appropriate criteria.

Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, universities, employment agencies, media, various relevant platforms, and internet sites: providing organizational information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations and maintaining rapport and reciprocity in the community and skilled niches.

Develop our employer brand by making Altasciences an employer of choice.

Develop and release job postings on social media, job boards, and other critical media platforms.

Participate in the development of talent acquisition strategies and HR marketing initiatives Collaborate within the Talent Acquisition teams globally.

Participate in industry shows and events, community/networking events, and career fairs.

Update and maintains the Employee Referral Program and the tracking of the Employee referrals.

Negotiate and close employment offers.

Maintains and updates the HRIS (human resource information system) records and Applicant Tracking System daily.

Other HR and Recruiting duties as assigned.

Communication Internal: Employees and Management Team External: Recruitment firms, candidates, Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in human resources management (or related field) is preferred but not required.

Work experience in the field of recruiting of 3-5 years Work Experience: 3 years of related experience Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: ASA, NAPS, HRCi, SHRM certification or equivalent is preferred.

Computer Skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; must have experience with an HRIS.

Language Skill: Ability to read and interpret technical documents and industry-specific manuals.

Ability to write advanced reports and correspondence.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Math Skills: Intermediate to advanced math skills.

Other Requirements: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.

Familiarity with job boards, HR software, and databases.

Proven experience conducting various types of interviews {i.e., phone, video, etc.).

General knowledge of current employment laws and practices.

Personal/professional integrity and proven discretion in handling confidential information.

Capable of managing multiple conflicting priorities.

Be organized, work well independently, be a quick learner, and have a positive, can-do attitude.
