HR Payroll Assistant

We are seeking a sharp HR/Payroll Assistant to join our energetic teamHR/Payroll AssistantDUTIES INCLUDE (but not limited to):Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.Assisting with payroll functions including payroll preparation by updating IRA/FedEx fees & monthly commission statements, answering employee questions, and distributing checks.Assisting with employee orientation, development, & trainingAssisting with benefits (health/dental, 401K, etc.) administration & contract negotiationAssisting with HR-related employee issues/grievancesAssisting with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.And other HR & admin/payroll-related assignmentsQUALIFICATIONS: Must have at least two (2) years of HR-related work experience. Demonstrates a positive attitude and strong people skills. Remains calm, flexible, and always maintains confidentiality. Must possess excellent writing & communication skills, be resourceful, pay attention to details, & be highly organized.
