In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with the Global Distribution senior leadership and global, regional, and cross-functional partners to mature ESG performance, share standard methodologies and find opportunities Responsibilities: Understand your partners objectives as it relates to ESG and the key metrics or areas of opportunity that are the most important to them in order to deliver solutions that drive clarity and direction for the teams Build and circulate current and map future state of ESG activities for Global Distribution, working with Sourcing, Supply Chain, and Sustainability leaders to set critical landmarks where applicable Develop executive reporting across ESG programs for Global Distribution to track progress against targets and relevant KPIs, issues, and risks In partnership with Amgens Business Resilience program, create/update crisis management plans, global business continuity plans, and risk assessments for key business processes, and assist Amgens locations with the creation/update of their business continuity plans Assist with risk identification, tracking, and planning for mitigation of risks Own the GD BCP Roadmap to review existing plans, coordinate exercises, and incorporate on the plan lessons learned from exercises and real activation situations.
Develop and document business processes in the form of process flows, SOPs/business practice documents, and templates Support initiatives within Global Distribution Supply Chain for strategy & services such as: vendor management, performance management, and benchmarking, among others Win What we expect of you We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.
The supply chain professional we seek is a diligent individual with these qualifications.
Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree OR Masters degree and 2 years of experience OR Bachelors degree and 4 years of experience OR Associates degree and 10 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 12 years of experience Preferred Qualifications: Experience with creating dashboards and reports to communicate data to senior leadership Experience in logistics and/or supply chain Experience initiating and leading projects and/or leading governance of global business processes while integrating local processes Ability to analyze KPIs/metrics & identify areas of opportunity to reduce emissions and/or increase efficiency Ability to write and present results to both technical and non-technical audiences Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams that may include manufacturing, logistics, purchasing, supply chain, etc.
Comfortable dealing with senior management and across functions, global sites, and subject areas Ability to deal with ambiguity Familiarity with Risk Assessment tools and methods Strong understanding of Business Continuity programs and demonstrated experience with writing Business Continuity plans Demonstrated ability to work independently and without direct supervision; as well as ability to work in teams Thrive Some of the vast rewards of working here As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for our teammates professional and personal growth and well-being.
