Closing Paralegal

JOB SUMMARY AgAmerica is seeking a Closing Paralegal to join our office in Boise, ID.

This person must have outstanding organizational skills to ensure that all information and documents surrounding deals are kept in order.

The Closing Paralegal will report directly to the Agricultural Real Estate Counsel at Miller Law in Lakeland, FL.

Duties will include loan processing, liaison between departments, updating data points in Salesforce, and other special projects as assigned.

The Closing Paralegal will be the main point of contact between AgAmerica’s Closing team located at Miller Law and AgAmerica’s Production and Credit teams located at AgAmerica’s office in Boise, ID.

The Closing Paralegal should improve the loan processing process and implement organizational tactics that support business growth and enhance AgAmerica’s reputation.

JOB DETAILS Hire Date: ASAP Position Type: Full-Time Location: Boise, ID Compensation: Pay rate negotiable based on experience, competitive benefits package, and bonus opportunity.

Reports to: Real Estate Attorney, Director of Closing Direct Reports: N/A JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Loan processing and assistance with Production and Credit teams Loan closing liaison with Client and Production teams for appraisal, title and other closing documents Internal Sales and Salesforce – update dates, stages, and other data points throughout underwriting and closing process Coordinate schedules and plan meetings, prepare Agricultural Real Estate Counsel for meetings Implement and maintain efficient systems within Microsoft Office Maintain contacts and data points for title companies and other third-parties Prioritize loan closings wisely and keep track of schedule changes; help Closing team meet deadlines Field communications with stakeholders and business partners by phone and email Special projects and other duties/projects as needed REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Associates degree or relevant experience Advanced skill in Microsoft Office Basic knowledge and ability to identify financial statements and other legal documents Understanding of basic loan and financial concepts Commercial loan closing experience; preferred Experience with Salesforce; preferred CORE COMPETENCIES Exceptional organizational skills Ability to multi-task and handle multiple files at one time Team player with ability to work in a fast-paced environment Intuition and ability to anticipate needs and next steps Acute attention to detail AGAMERICA MISSION To know the farmer.
