Information Assurance Documentation Specialist

We are looking for a Jr.

Information Assurance Documentation Specialist to join our organization and support USTRANSCOM at the client site at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.

Clearance Requirement:Active Secret Clearance Duties Responsibilities:Review and audit implementation and configuration of RMF monitors and controlsPrepare and maintain RMF Comprehensive Packages and system ATO artifactsCoordinate with system owners to prepare and execute system ATO tasksMaintain and update system security status in eMASSDevelop strategy to obtain ATO based on full RMF packages (senior-level only)Assist system administration team to maintain RMF continuous monitoring and associated documentation and reportsTrack and manage resolution of POAMsRevise and maintain security-related procedures for conducting assessments, scanning, auditing, etc.All other duties as assigned Competencies:Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to produce information in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing while maintaining professionalism and maturity.Demonstrated technical expertise with exceptional mathematical, analytical and critical thinking skills and an effective and innovative ability to solve problems.Outstanding organizational and attention to detail skills with a demonstrated ability to work in an environment with multiple interruptions while effectively and efficiently prioritizing tasks and responding quickly to situations as they arise.Energetic, self-starter with a proven ability to thrive independently with minimal to no supervision as well as on a team in a mentoring and learning environmentExceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization as part of a diverse and inclusive workforce.Sensitivity to, and appreciation of cultural, political and geographical differencesMinimum Qualifications An Associate’s Degree in a computer-science related field (An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute)1 year of experience with each of the following technology skills: Experience using DoD security management tools including eMASSWorking understanding of STIGsExperience with NIST RMF monitoring and controlsExperience with preparing system ATO artifactsExperience developing and reviewing system security plansVulnerability and risk analysis experienceRemedy ticketing systemActive Secret Clearance is required for this role.

(Applicants must be eligible for a Top Secret Clearance)A current DoD 8570 IAT-II Certification (e.g.

Security CE, CCNA Security, etc.) is required.
