Responsibilities & Duties:
Drive application development for injection molding with 3D printed inserts, including design of cavities, development of press parameters, and material selection.
Work with sales team and directly with customers to understand application requirements and propose technical solutions to meet customer needs.
Setup, maintain, and operate injection molding equipment to demonstrate process capability to prospective customers
Work with photo-polymer based 3D printers and cleaning equipment and technicians
Design and mold sales sample parts and support for marketing efforts
Become proficient and educate prospective customers on the capabilities of tool-less molding using Nexa3D printers and Addifab photopolymers. Drive process innovation and industrialization including quality control and cost modeling.
Ensure process safety
Candidate Requirements:
3+ years of experience with injection molding, including tool design, with an Engineering degree, or 6+ years of experience without an Engineering degree.
Familiarity with CAD tools such as Solidworks
Able to interpret engineering drawings including GD&T
Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction
Experience interacting with customers and prospective customers
Experience with 3D Printing a plus
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and to meet customer deadlines on a regular basis
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
