Key responsibilities providing qualitative and quantitative research insights on user engagement to help inform strategic programming decisions. Must be able to handle many projects at once and communicate in a clear, concise manner.Key responsibilities:Understanding objectives and determining key metrics for all OWN Digital platforms, including Oprah.com, Watch OWN, OWN on d and OWN’s YouTube channelPresenting findings and articulating them to key stakeholders and the leadership teamDeveloping appropriate strategy recommendations based on synthesized data and insightsProvide analytics and insights to help inform decision-making and programming, support the continuous improvement of our digital platforms and drive engagement across all platformsResponsible for reporting and insights in support of optimizing the performance of our digital platformsMaintaining, disseminating and presenting Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reportsUnderstand best practices in measurement and analyticsAd Hoc reporting and analysisProviding data-driven insight to improve on current campaignsWorking to identify new opportunities to utilize data and analytics to improve ongoing digital initiativesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to help identify content needsGenerate actionable insights about desktop and mobile user behavior to guide digital teams in optimizing the user experienceWork with third party vendors to ensure accurate measurementRefresh presentations/sales materials/historical tracksDevelop materials suitable for executive level presentations; ability to translate findings/results in a clear concise mannerQualifications:Bachelor’s degree required – a degree in marketing, analytics, or similar fields preferred8 years of experience performing data analysis and researchKnowledge of TVE, VOD, SVOD businessProficiency in site analytics tools such as Adobe Site Catalyst (Omniture) required, Google Analytics, Comscore products, TableauProficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs), Microsoft Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)Knowledgeable in secondary site usage; ie; ChartbeatsComfortable analyzing large amounts of dataPractical problem solving and strategic thinking skillsStrong mathematical skills
