Advancement opportunities are certain for high level performers.Essential Job Functions:Develop root cause analysis and corrective actions for any materials, products, or processesWork with Quality Manager to ensure quality control processes meet ISO standardsAnalyze production processes, schedules, methods, and other data and recommend improvements needed for the manufacturing processCollaborate with Quality Manager to ensure that the company’s manufacturing processes, and documentation standards comply with all government laws and regulationsReview and calculate labor, material, and other production costs along with reviewing schedules and future production requirements to assist management in decision makingLead continuous improvement initiatives by training, developing, and implementing improvements using operational excellence toolsLead cost reduction efforts and new equipment launchesAssist production with troubleshooting issues Oversee training plan for operators and techniciansAnalyze and plan workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiencyCoordinate equipment maintenance and repair services and make sure that manufacturer’s procedures and instructions are followed to keep production equipment operationalEvaluate and improve upon existing lockout/tagout procedures and ergonomic/safety practicesProvide product design feedback to customers to improve manufacturability and testabilityParticipate in supplier development and selectionAdhere to environmental, health and safety guidelinesIdeal Candidate Profile:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline (Electrical Engineering preferred but not required)Five or more years of electronics manufacturing experiencePCB design software such as PADS, Altium, OrCAD, GerbTool, etc.
