Closely collaborates and partners with all other SAP functional leads, non-SAP domains (MES, PLM) and demand organization from the business.
Follow guidance and overall management directions from Country IS Manager and head of delivery for the region, NAM.IS Delivery: Responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the development of the Americas SAP roadmap for all demands under Operations business processes; treating the modules under scope as products increasingly with a product mindset for Agile delivery focused on speed and right-fit solution.Actively manages and supports project portfolio management, resource allocation and third-party resources.
Full understanding of ABB regional IS landscape to properly evaluate end-to-end solution deployment and alternatives, creating a flexible and scalable ERP solution with minimal non-standard solutions.Actively management of demand organization to provide insightful feedback on project requests, relating to priority, alternatives and expectations.
Strong governance mindset to define and follow/ enforce tools, methods and procedures with the team.Processes: Supports the installation/ management/ maintenance/ optimization of internal and cross-functional processes related to Operations, and its integration points.Development of close collaboration with relevant ABB Global Functional Domain organizations and Business Area/Division organizations, to get alignment on solutions and common/distinct processes to be used in the region.IS Standards: Supports work in the America’s is aligned to given goals and compliant with ABB IS Enterprise Architecture and any other applicable ABB Group Directives and ABB Group Guidelines, especially ABB IS Guidelines and Directive, which deal with IS service delivery.
Budget: Manages assigned budget effectively and delivers activities within agreed schedules and costs.
On request, participates in the definition of costs and schedules.
Stakeholder Management: In a country, region or Business Areas or Division, ensures and increases overall satisfaction with ERP delivery and overall IS services by assessing expectations, verifying that actions are taken to close any gap, and influencing stakeholder perceptions of IS service.People Leadership and Development: Ensures that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, for the benefit of both ABB and the employee.
Governance: Participates and contributes in management meetings (internal and external), as well as governance bodies representing ERP team activities.Your backgroundBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field with minimum 10 years of management experience in SAP Operations functional and technical areas related processesMultiple Full Life Cycle solution deployment in a lead positionPreferred above 10 years of ERP SAP experience within the relevant processes under Operations domain: SAP MM, WM, QM, PP, PM including functional configuration and integration with SAP SD, FI/CO modulesMaster Data management, BOM, Costing, Interchangeability and Substitution, Direct and Indirect procurement, Release strategies, Subcontracting, Third party order processing, Warehouse Management (WM)
