Must have the ability to run various types of equipment, utilize a variety of hand and power tools, use sound judgment in making decisions and capable of monitoring critical operations.

Responsible for recognizing, correcting when possible, and reporting all operational variations.

Performs periodic quality control analyses as required to complete in-process production.

May perform equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities:Consults production reports to determine tools needed for days production.

Consults mold location charts, retrieves molds and places press to be reheated.

Must be capable of reading instructions, reading and understanding graphic charts, and following a sequence of events.

Must be capable of lifting up to fifty (50) pounds, utilizing supportive lifting equipment for heavier items and/or assistance from another employee.Moves molds throughout the production process requiring the ability to operate simple to moderately difficult machines with up to five (5) or six (6) steps.Utilizes prying equipment requiring the use of both arms and a moderate level of strength.Uses sharp tools, i.e., exacto knives, razor blades and operates band saws to cut materials.

This requires manual dexterity and adhering to proper procedures.Performs a variety of repetitive tasks and utilizes a variety of hand and power tools, i.e., cutting and sanding machines.

Performs simple lathe and drill press operations.

Consults work orders and interprets to determine specific customer requirements.

Performs quality control functions requiring the ability to use judgment and make decisions, i.e., inspecting a seal against predetermined specifications and deciding whether to accept or reject.

Must be capable of following instructions for the sizing of seals.

Must be capable of understanding, implementing and following Standard Operating Procedures to support the Company’s commitment to ISO 9000.Determines appropriate size for packaging and operates shrink wrap machine.

Complexity of Duties:Works under minimal supervision.Ability to make decisions based on a set of predetermined parameters.Ability to work according to written/verbal and/or graphic instructions/ procedures which will ensure safety on the job and efficient, effective production processes.Essential Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
