They will facilitate and assess how programs will impact the business and do whatever it takes to get the projects moving forward. The Program Manager works closely with various engineering teams, vendors, accounting, marketing, sales, and the product management team. This position requires a strong communicator for daily scrum and sprint reviews and interpersonal skills that will help to lead these discussions with cross-functional teams to execute plans in a timely manner.Responsibilities:Manage, track, and oversee a list of dependent and interconnected projects needed to reach the assigned program goal by making sure they are delivered on time, within budget and with quality.Lead cross-functional discussions to define high-level effort, resource plan, prioritize initiatives, and proactively identify and address potential risks and impedimentsBuild strong communication channels with cross-functional teams, service owners, program managers, product owners, and other departmentsDevelop dashboards, templates, and advanced filters in JIRA to provide end-users and business stakeholders with meaningful operational and performance metrics and status reportsEnsure updates, roadmap, milestones, and changes are tracked for assigned programInfluence continuous improvement of the agile environment by creating processes that enable teams to move quickly and efficientlyExecute and maintain project management processes in an agile environment.Requirements:Minimum 3 years of technical experience, including 1 year in program management and track record of timely delivery of software and network projectsThe candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, and a problem solverWork well in a fast paced, changing environment with multiple, competing priorities, and feel comfortable navigating uncertain, and ambiguous situationsExperience engaging in and leading technical discussionsUnderstanding of agile software development methodologiesSelf-starter, and collaborates well with team membersExperience building and managing relationships across roles and teams in the organizationCSM or comparable certification, or experience is requiredExperience with confluence (Jira, Wiki) is a plusBS in technical discipline preferred.Meet Boingo:Boingo Wireless, Inc. helps the world stay connected.
