ALLEGANY COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT JOB ANNOUNCEMENTCONTRACTUAL MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELORLOCATION: Behavioral Health-Outpatient Mental Health CenterNATURE OF WORK: This full-time contractual position will provide direct, specialized, outpatient services to mentally ill patients in a school based and community mental health center setting.

This position will provide therapy, individual, family, and groups, along with crisis interventions, pre-screenings, interagency coordinator of services and case management services andother duties as needed.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:SOCIAL WORKER I:Education: LMSWExperience: NoneSOCIAL WORKER II: Education: LCSW-C LicenseExperience: Two years of experience rendering clinical social work services in a health care or treatment setting subsequent to the receipt of an approved Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university.SALARY: $23.19/hour for the Social Worker I position; $24.68/hour for the Social Worker II position.

Paid leave is earned.
