What You’ll Do Every Day At Camp
- Build happiness in teenage campers through our wilderness backpacking program.
- Create a welcoming, safe environment where kids can connect with nature and their community, feel autonomy and master new skills.
- Teach backpacking, Leave No Trace, and other skills.
- Collaborate with your coworkers to strengthen each other.
- Gain real leadership and interpersonal skills you’ll use for the rest of your life, no matter your future career.
What You Need to Know (check out the Job Description for more)
- Trip Leaders lead three week-long wilderness trips each summer, in Yosemite National Park. Between trips, Trip Leaders work at our day camp in Los Angeles.
- All positions are temporary, seasonal, full time during the camp season. Expect to work from approximately 8 am through 5 pm, Monday through Friday while at day camp and continuously during trips.
- Trip Leaders must be at least 21 years old and have a valid drivers license.
- As a day camp, we do not generally provide housing, meals or transportation. Transportation to and from trips and meals during trips are provided.
