Weekend Package Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Established within a tranquil setting of heavy woods, rocks and the river, you’ll find Accura HealthCare of Cherokee, located in Cherokee, IA.

We are a 48-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) with 18 of those beds dedicated to an Alzheimer’s CCDI unit.

In addition, we have 28-beds dedicated to Assisted Living (AL).

We are proud of being agency free for years due to our strong clinical team.

We have CNA opportunities available due to several of our CNAs advancing their careers by recently transitioning with us from CNAs to nurses.

CURRENT NEEDS: Full-time (1st or 2nd shift); options of Friday, Saturday Sunday or Saturday, Sunday and Monday; Weekend packages may consist of either three 12-hour shifts or two 16-hour shifts.SIGN-ON BONUS: $3,000 for full-timeJob Summary: Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are responsible for providing exceptional personal care for our residents.

Assist with dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, baths/showers, as well as providing basic treatments required as directed by nursing staff.

Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years of age.

Hold current CNA certification with applicable state, without restrictions, and/or ability to obtain state specific certification.
