– 7:30 PM)and overnight shifts (7:00PM to 7:30PM) Shifts are 12-hours, 3 days per week with shift differentials available.
All full-time RNs rotate weekends shifts.Key Responsibilities:Provides one-on-one assistance to patients in crisisAttends to the nutritional and dietary needs of the patientsDemonstrates normalized eating behaviors and beliefs through redirection and modelingprovides accurate and ongoing assessment of patient’s statusCoordinates patients discharge and/or transition between levels of care and medication reconciliationCommunicates and advocates for each patient to appropriate treatment team membersUnder nurse supervision, assist in medical tasks for patients including, taking vitals, weights, and dispensing medicationsDemonstrates professional conduct, respect, and compassion towards all patients, families, co-workers and the public as a representative of McCallum PlaceDemonstrate the ability to organize and complete assignmentsEDUCATION AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTSGraduatedfrom an accredited school of nursing.Current Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by the state of MissouriPrevious psych nursing experience highly preferredEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
