The ideal candidate demonstrates expertise in apparel technical design concepts, practices, and procedures across multiple product classifications.
Position is primarily responsible for ensuring quality, fit, desired appearance, and meeting requirements of company and key private label customer.
This position will work closely alongside Creative Director, Import Coordinator, and Production Managers.Key Responsibilities:Must lead and organize fit sessions of all products, proto through productionAbility to identify fit problems and provide solutionsCollaborate with the development department and private label customerMost hold themselves and technical design department accountable and ensure projects stay on scheduleLead team in reviewing all production shipments to ensure product meets company expectations.Critical Skills:Must have excellent understanding of garment constructionUnderstanding of both domestic and overseas manufacturingMust have excellent written and oral communication skillsMust have experience with patternmaking and gradingMust have experience in supervising technical design departmentProficient in Photoshop, Illustrator software, Window, Excel, and WordExperience:10-15 years relevant experience.Send your resume and portfolio today
