Home Care Operation Manager

To help maintain and grow this standard, we’re seeking an experienced Home Care Operations Manager to oversee daily activities.

As an ideal candidate, you’ll have a sharp business mind and proven success managing multiple departments toward maximum productivity.

Departments include Home Community Based Services (HCBS) which includes the Elderly, Blind and Disabled (EBD) operations, the In Home Support Services (IHSS) operations, Brain Injury (BI) operations and Developmentally Disabled – Host Homes operations.

You’ll be highly skilled in human resources and services.

Additionally, you’ll display a proven ability to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within 5280 Home Care.

Your ultimate responsibility is to increase our operational efficiency in the company.

Objectives of this Role
·Maintain constant communication with Owners, management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization
·Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
·Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization’s internal capacity
·Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives
·Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget
·Track office staffing requirements, hiring new office employees as needed
·Oversee delegated departments Skills and Qualifications
·A degree in operations health services, healthcare administration, rehabilitation services, management, business administration, or related field
·3 years’ proven experience in an operations management position
·Strong oversight skills
·Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of operations
·Trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes is a plus
·Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) RESPONSIBILITY FOR INTERPERSONAL CONTACTS:§ Operations Manager should be able to communicate effectively and must possess the ability to deal tactfully with managers, clients, caregivers, other 5280 employees and the general public.

The Operations Manager must have patience, tact, and enthusiasm as well a willingness to handle difficult situations.

The Operations Manager must always maintain strict client confidentiality SKILLS:§Must have good knowledge of basic client care techniques and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to home care and in particular, knowledge of State and Medicaid rules and regulations.§Must be able to work independently, prioritize work, and display time management skills.§Must have interpersonal skills including empathy, responsibility, self-control, and good judgment.§Must have ability to work with a team and show leadership.§Must have ability to speak clearly and effectively in a variety of settings.§Must have ability to listen attentively and actively.§Must have ability to follow written and oral instructions from Owners§Must have a record of reporting to work consistently and on time.§Must have the knowledge and ability to provide infection control measures.

Preferred Qualifications
·Working knowledge of Sandata and the ability to learn any new software implemented
·Experience in Home Care, Home Health Care or Case Management

Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills and how many years of experience you have.

Most candidates will start in the middle to lower half of this range.
