: This position provides design support to the Adult Design department across all imprints.
Responsibilities include reviewing passes/proofs with the Art Director/ Designers and making edits, formatting images, preparing files for production, creative research (illustrators, fonts, inspirational reference) and general design support for the team.
Intern will also attend weekly design meetings with the department.
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with an interest in book design and more exposure to the visually creative side of publishing.
Responsibilities include:
·Strong knowledge of Creative Cloud: Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and IllustratorTypesetting skills, keen design sensibility, attention to detailProficient written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously: to meet deadlines, work independently and collaboratively, and to follow through consistently.
