BT-2080 QA Inspector, Sr. I

Job Description:

Must have 8 years of experience in quality assurance inspection of high reliability electronic or mechanical equipment for space flight. Must be knowledgeable of ISO 9000 quality systems and familiar with configuration management, contamination control, data package reviews, integration and test processes governing the fabrication assembly, test and certification of space flight hardware. Good computer and communication skills and ability to work with multiple interfaces is required.

Typical Duties: Support the fabrication of JPL space flight electronics, mechanical assemblies and cabling by performing inspections, documenting/creating nonconformance and manufacturing planning. Perform supplier source inspections and audits/evaluations.

Required Skills:

High School Diploma for Education required
8 Years of Experience
Must be a US citizen
Must be able to pass a national agency check
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

Other Desired Skills:

Experience with inspecting mechanical, electro-mechanical assemblies/sub-assemblies/system is preffered. Experience with environmental test witness and inspection of PWAs desired.
