THE ROLE:

The Data Analyst
– Digital and Site Growth & Optimization will be responsible for overseeing our digital analytic platform and data while supporting the organization with reporting, analysis and optimization of digital campaigns and site performance.

The ideal candidate will have proven success implementing, managing and leveraging Google Analytics (GA) to ensure the efficacy of digital data as well as the ability to develop sophisticated dashboards and visualizations and conduct deep-dive, ad hoc analyses in pursuit of improving traffic, conversion, and efficiencies in marketing and site performance.

Finally, the ideal candidate will be technically proficient in Google Tag Manager to ensure the efficacy and reliability of Athletic Greens digital data via oversight of site tagging and campaign tracking.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

TACTICAL:
Measurement and analysis of key drivers of site conversion, the interaction between offline advertising and site traffic, performance of landing experiences and marketing programs
– and providing recommendations for improvement.
Manage tagging, pixel implementation (and associated QA/debugging) and integrations related to GA360/G4 platform to ensure the integrity and reliability of data and platform data.

Support the execution and analysis of A/B tests and build the framework to inform testing opportunities to continually improve conversion and AOV.
Partner to Marketing to create and activate audiences across the GMC ecosystem.
Establish, maintain and evolve the website reporting and dashboards which should include tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs), traffic sources and funnel behaviors.
Guide key stakeholders in the appropriate implementation and validation of new tracking requirements and fixes, and ensure existing tracking remains intact.
Build strong data-driven working relationships with internal teammates across key departments including Partnerships, Marketing, Finance, Data & Analytics, Product & Engineering.
STRATEGIC:
Analysis and optimization of site performance, traffic trends, conversion paths, marketing campaigns and site enhancements in order to develop strategic recommendations to improve site conversion, revenues and user experience.
Define and drive efforts to link online and offline data to better understand overall customer behavior, value as well as marketing and campaign effectiveness.
Proactively identify current and emerging gaps in the digital analytics data capture strategy and provide recommendations to address and evolve capabilities.
Serve as internal SME for all things GA360/4 and GTM.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, business, marketing or consumer research discipline (Statistics, Marketing Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Marketing, etc).
3-5 years website analytics background specifically focused on site tagging/implementation, website performance, conversion optimization, navigation, traffic and campaign analysis, and usability.
Expert user of Google Analytics (GA360/G4) with demonstrated knowledge of Google Tag Manager and pixel implementations using JS.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and developing reports and dashboards using Tableau or Google DataStudio required.
SQL and data mining experience and proficiency.
A team player with the ability to communicate effectively, influence cross-functionally and develop solid working relationships across multiple levels and organizational boundaries is required.
Ability to “tell the story” behind the data to drive consensus and action.
Ownership of the data collection process and change management to any changes/implementations.
Demonstrated ability to interpret and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to translate data into insights, demonstrating strong analytical skills
– ability to analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources.
Technical knowledge of web analytics, including website and site tagging pixel implementations and campaign tracking.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments concurrently, perform well under pressure, and meet deadlines, while ensuring acute attention to detail and accuracy.
Project management skills with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
