Staff VP National Operations Center (NOC) How you will make an impact: As Staff VP National Operations Center, you will be responsible for providing transparency into operational performance and proactive identification of operational issues that will drive remediation across the enterprise.
The right leader will build and scale the NOC into a high-performance team that works across the enterprise to identify operational issues early and support resolution efforts.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: + Develops and expands the National Operations Center (NOC) monitoring across Anthem’s businesses and incorporate leading NOC practices into Anthem’s NOC while managing a dedicated team of resources.
+ Incorporates industry-leading practices including cross business unit data and analytics to drive decision making that improves operational performance.
+ Works cross-functionally to identify, track, and ensure remediation of prioritized operational issues.
+ Drives the roadmap and expansion strategy across Anthem’s businesses.
+ Serves as primary liaison with Business Unit and Growth Partner leadership including defining metrics and targets in partnership with operational leaders.
+ Own the forums where Business Unit operations leadership review, discuss and prioritize operations issues.
Reporting relationship VP of Strategy & Planning Critical stakeholders Divisional COO’s Location Nationwide (within a commutable distance to an Anthem office), Atlanta is the preferred location.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements Requires a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 10 years experience in national operations centers or similar operations experience and a minimum of 7 years leadership/management experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred + Six Sigma Black Belt + Knowledge and experience in core operations (e.g.
claims, enrollment & billing, customer service, utilization management, prior-authorization, etc.) within healthcare payer environment.
Experience in multiple and various operations areas highly desired.
+ Healthcare industry experience across multiple lines of businesses (e.g.
Commercial, Government, Pharmacy, etc.) desired.
+ Demonstrated senior leadership capabilities across matrixed environment, capable of driving change to influence operational outcomes through data and analytics.
+ Proven record of developing and defining relationships that drive organizational change/transformation initiatives, efficiency, and growth.
Applicable to Colorado Applicants Only Annual Salary Range*: Min
– $161,364.04
– $201,704 Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
