Air Logistics Pricing Specialist

If you wish to further develop your career with one of the most successful logistics organization we are looking for a Pricing Specialist .**Your Role**Member of Regional Airfreight Pricing team is responsible for providing, collecting and validating airfreight rates for global and local client tenders, and spot quotes, with respect to Westcoast efforts.**Your Responsibilities**+ Maintain airfreight rate, trucking rate and handling costs databases and market intelligence within the WC area in conjunction with area + national air logistics management and gateway management.+ Liaise and work closely with Global/Regional Airfreight Pricing network and Global/Regional Key Account Managers (G/RKAMs) on assigned global/local pricing requests in the following capacities.+ Complete requests per US pricing strategies under the guidance of US Pricing Management.+ Manage and compile area collection of local origin and destination and airport to airport.+ Distribute feedback and provide consultation to/from business unit and sales on client pricing strategy, formats, requirements, supporting data and market intelligence etc.+ Support National and Regional Airfreight activities as necessary and directed by management;+ Prepare structured, professional tenders that are tailored to the specific requirements of the customer and their respective industry.+ Track activity, win and loss of global/regional pricing requests.+ Quote, analyze and manage pricing for air import/export customers (existing & new) using software driven solutions.+ Maintain existing business and generate new clientele.+ Developstrong working relationships with carriers, clients (external and internal) andteammates.**Your Skills and Experiences**+ High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in Logistics/Forwarding preferred but not required+ Minimum 3 years of pricing and/or freight forwarding experience (air export experience a plus)+ Solid knowledge of domestic and international geography including countries, major cities+ Demonstrable advanced working knowledge of MS office, primarily Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot tables etc)+ Proficient in English (verbal & written)+ Strong critical analysis & negotiation skills+ Strong problem solving skills & Profit conscious.+ Ability to quickly learn other company specific programs.+ Excellent communication and organizational skills.+ Ability to thrive in a busy environment and meet deadlines.+ Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, within team guidelines and procedures, towards global organizational goals.+ Highly organized & detail oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline
