The Program Manager for HIV Testing and Wellness in acts as a resource for AHF HIV/STI testing and treatment.

This position supports HIV Testers, Medical Assistants and Providers and works closely with the AHF Healthcare Center, Linkage to Care Specialist, Department of Health and Community Partners.
 
The Program Manager upholds the highest level of care to our patients and clients by being available to troubleshoot issues, act as a liaison to other programs and departments, monitor progress to annual program goals, ensure fidelity to policies and procedures and prepare reports in response to contract requirements, among other responsibilities.

Program Managers also liaise with testing staff and leadership in an effort to constantly improve a client’s experience.

This includes periodic conference calls with Testing and Wellness Leadership nationally as well may include regional and annual Public Health Division meetings.

The Program Manager’s responsibilities also may include administrative tasks to support Testing, MA or Provider staff.
 
The Program Manager can create a supportive work environment by understanding and implementing operating policies and procedures, as well as supporting and mentoring testing, MA and Provider staff, to create a compassionate and non-judgmental environment for patients to access Testing, Wellness Services, as well as Linkage to Primary HIV Care.
