At 160/90, the Partnerships team is comprised of subject matter experts around the world helping clients create, negotiate, activate and evaluate integrated marketing programs.Based in either Los Angeles or New York, this Account Director position will be part of a dedicated agency team responsible for managing sponsorship and experiential marketing initiatives for a key client that is focused on serving the financial needs of our nation’s military community.RESPONSIBILITIES:Co-lead a cross-functional engagement team servicing the strategic development and activation of client’s sponsorship portfolio related to sports & entertainment and military affinityManage 2 direct reports by providing on-going training and performance feedback, and provide strategic oversight across entire agency team supporting the client’s businessResponsible for timelines, milestones, deliverables, ROI tracking and budgets on behalf of dedicated account team.Collaborate with internal creative staff to brief necessary projects and ensure high quality, on-time deliverablesLiaise with internal divisions as necessary to develop cultural marketing strategies that are grounded in fact-based insights and measured against key performance indicatorsPartner with internal divisions, external stakeholders, and third party vendors as needed in the execution of events to ensure all consumer touch points meet operation protocol and brand standardsInterface with other account team members, client(s) and all appropriate agencies and partner properties on a daily basis to coordinate all fulfillment aspects of assigned programs and eventsManage the upfront RFP and evaluation process for new, renewed and prospective sponsorships, as well as the after-action performance measurement process based on established client objectivesCreate and maintain client-ready materials, such as POVs, recommendations, and activation plansThe Account Director will be expected to make a meaningful contribution to the leadership and development of the account team in terms of process management, best practices, thought leadership and innovation.Represent 160over90 in channel planning with other agency partners to leverage industry and institutional expertise as part of integrated marketing communications efforts.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing or related field.

MBA preferred, but not required.Minimum of 8years of relevant agency or client-based or property/event sponsorship or marketing experience.

Specific disciplines could include: business development, sponsorship marketing, branded content, event marketing, or promotional marketingExperience managing a team to drive employee growth and client successExperience working within sports – both professional and collegeParticipation in the selection, negotiation, and evaluation of successful sponsorship programsMilitary experience and/or a proven desire to work with military-based programs is preferredAbility to lead the development and implementation of marketing programs with a cross-functional team.Ability to manage day-to-day relationships with clients and other divisions within 160over90 and Endeavor.Intellectual leadership, a problem-solving aptitude, and a broad understanding of global popular culture.Excellent time management, written and oral communication skillsProven ability to prioritize workflow, manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive resultsAbility to think strategically and creatively, and to problem-solve independently and in groupsAbility to travel 10-25% of the time (including weekend events)Proficient in MS Office Suite
