Job Description AmericanTours International, LLC – Greater Los Angeles Area Role and Responsibilities The position of Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for overseeing day to day collection efforts and cash application of all assigned clients. This includes the credit accounts and possibly prepays account. Tracking of cash collected for payers, and documenting all activities in appropriate systems. You are expected to follow the credit policies of the Company however y ou are also expected to provide innovative, responsible results with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually may improve systems and processes to achieve superior results. These new ideas should be first brought to the attention to the Credit and Collections manager before its implementation. This position is a non-supervisory function. This job description does not list all the duties of the job. You may be asked by supervisors or managers to perform other duties related to Accounts Receivables. Responsibilities : · Collections · Work as part of the Collections team to drive best practice in Collections activities, to improve Cash Flow and minimize ageing debt · Generate timely billing of assigned clients.-Create statements · Apply client payments in SAGE system · Review A/R balances to ensure timely and accurate payments are received in company systems. · Ensure open communication with the Sales team · Maintain current and accurate computer data including documentation of all account activity performed in A/R systems · Confers with employees of other departments to trace payments on bills under investigation by collection department to give information pertaining to accuracy of charges on customers’ bills · Ensure all CC payments are charged in a timely manner · Timely resolution of queries/disputes/litigations via liaison with both external customer and our internal customers(Clients, Sales, AP,OPS,Customer Service) · Traces source & corrects customer accounts for errors in billing rates, misapplied credits, or identifying information (i.e.: litigations,disputes,quieries) · Establish and maintain communication with Accounts Receivable Manager, all Sales Managers and others responsible for clients revenue; ensure all are kept current regarding account status · Adhere to all established goals and be able to explain variances to goals · Prepare and submit reports in regard to billing and accounts receivable, as required · Embrace five important core values of collections; persistence, honesty, integrity, respect, and passion, and incorporate them into one’s daily job function. · Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. · Perform all other business-related duties as assigned. · Ensure all communication-both internal and external are accurately documented Qualifications and Education Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with the disabilities to perform the essential functions. · AA or BA Preferred, HS or equivalent req’d or one to three years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. · Fluency in Second Language German, Italian, French or Dutch preferred.
