People Systems Analyst, Workday Benefits – Remote

Our People Systems Architects play a key role in guiding the continued design, maintenance, and support of a specific functional area within Workday. The Senior People Systems Analyst – Workday Benefits will have responsibility for the successful implementation, integration, and customization of the Workday application from change feasibility to roll-out. The successful candidate will have business process architect experience gathering requirements, designing, delivering, and supporting business transformation using Workday in areas of Benefits. Under the Manager, People Systems – Payroll, Comp, and Benefits we seek to centralize ownership of our HR tech stack and decision-making in a fully focused, dedicated team.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement scalable, flexible solutions that are extensible to future business needs in areas of Benefits and Compensation
  • Design and implement Workday requirements for Workday payroll. . Partner with the Integration team for benefits integrations and touchpoints (i.e. payroll)
  • Demonstrate creative solutions and configurations using prototyping.
  • Serve as the Benefits Workday SME when working with members of the Integration Team
  • Document technology specifications for current and future configuration.
  • Act as the Benefits and Comp domain lead for feature releases and issue resolution, working with business users, People Systems Product Team, Payroll team, and support teams to define scope, prioritize, plan and implement system changes and enhancements.
  • Architect Workday Benefits solutions to ensure that all work streams are cohesive and cross functional impacts are considered and mitigated.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Human Resources or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of Workday experience.
  • Thorough knowledge in the Benefits module and 1 or more modules or cross applications (HCM, Recruitment, Performance, Adv Comp, LMS, Reporting, Security)
  • Experience developing and implementing business and system process improvements and setting standards.
  • Project management experience. Agile Project Management and experience using JIRA highly preferred
  • Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretely handle sensitive and confidential information

This role is designated as ‘Remote Mode,’ and employees are not expected to report into a Better office at any time. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is not required unless fully remote employees attend an onsite, in-person meeting, office event, or otherwise interface with Better employees and/or customers in person.
