Job Description Overview Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Cytotechnologists to support the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90073. Services will be delivered to all requesting departments throughout the facility on a range of schedules. Responsibilities Process cytology specimens Prepare and stain cytology slides for GYN and non-GYN specimens Make preliminary diagnoses independently of the physician cytologist Assist with fine needle aspiration (FNA) biopsy procedures Prepare and stains FNA smears Qualifications An Bachelor-level degree from an accredited educational institution ASCP professional certification or equivalent Nationally-recognized Cytopathology certification or categorical certification in cytopathology A minimum of one (1) year of experience within the last three (3) years – PREFERRED Experience in U.S. Government facilities – PREFERRED All candidate must be able to: Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist Lift up to 20 lbs Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance Push/pull with 30 lbs of force Powered by JazzHR aOHrmjzOgt
