The Barlow Respiratory Hospital Nursing Residency Program is an in-depth training program designed to prepare new grad nurse (RN) with the specialized skills needed to provide exemplary nursing care for medically-complex and ventilated patients. New grad RN welcome, Foreign Visa Sponsorship available. Experienced healthcare professionals transitioning from Skilled Nursing Facilities to Acute Care welcome. RN Position Description: Float Pool RN is empowered to work in all three Barlow Respiratory Hospital locations (Los Angeles, Van Nuys, Whittier) and enjoys Float Pool incentive pay. RN provides direct nursing care including: assessment, plan of care, education, and evaluation for assigned patients. RN provides patient care under the direction of a preceptor during orientation period. New Grad Nurse (RN) works according to scope of practice and hospital policy under the direction and supervision of the Charge Nurse, House Supervisor, and/or Clinical Director. Integrates biopsychosocial concepts, cognitive skills, and technically competent practice in providing care to patients with simple or complex needs.
