Warehouse/Facilities Team Lead
Location: Los Angeles
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for a Team Lead who will assist with implementing and maintaining agency-wide special projects in the areas of facility maintenance (3 buildings), light carpentry (repair holes, painting), furniture assembly and breakdown, light plumbing repairs, mail and postage, Safety & Security, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery and Off-Site Records Retention. In this important role you would ensure that all operation’s core services are performed and that all facets of physical plant maintenance are coordinated including occasional weekend, evening and off-site event.
The best suited candidate will:
- Provide technical and operational guidance to CSI Operations Assistant staff towards the completion of work tasks to improve work processes, procedures and work flow.
- Set an example for all personnel through the effective planning and execution of daily tasks and through the clear, considerate communications with internal clients and vendors.
- Maintain accurate and up to date key logs and inventory (including key check in and check out information), safeguard all keys and submit key logs daily to the Operations Coordinator at the end of each day.
- At the direction of the Operations Coordinator prepare paperwork for repair work and other facility related functions for approval.
- Work with the Operations Assistants to maintain the equipment inventory and identification tagging, perform physical inventory of assets as needed, and as requested by supervisor for all equipment, furniture and inventory held onsite site, off site and in storage locations.
- Schedule, set up and prepare meeting rooms for use by staff and authorized visitors on the daily basis.
- Work with the team on the Agency’s access card programming, building access card programming and maintain accurate inventory and safe guard all access cards.
- Prepare PAF’s (Purchase Authorization Forms) and supporting documents and justification for all supplies, furniture and equipment purchases and orders in accordance with fiscal guidelines and CSI’s policies and procedures.
- Coordinate the storage of agency files at offsite location in collaboration with Operations Assistant staff in compliance with Agency’s records retention program.
- Provide facilities services for employee, agency moves and events onsite and offsite, including but not limited to transport, moving and set up functions as directed by supervisor.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills And Abilities You Should Possess:
- AA degree preferred, high School graduate or equivalent.
- 2 years’ experience in general operations and facilities management is required.
- Some supervisory experience preferred.
- Physical agility and strength to regularly lift and/or carry office supplies or materials up to 75 pounds
- Required to travel to the different locations as needed; must have valid California Drivers License and appropriate insurance
