A Fender is more than an instrument, it’s a cultural symbol that resonates globally.As a Creative Director, Social Content on our global marketing team working in Hollywood, CA, you will lead our content offense across all social channels in collaboration with our in-house Social Media team.

The scope of work will range from long and short form serialized content, culturally relevant activations and channel native content.

This position requires a broad understanding of the media and social landscape, as well as in depth knowledge of the channels and guitar, music, and creator culture.About the job:* Guide the creative development and production of social media campaigns and assets, including daily quick-turn posts, weekly launches, monthly/quarterly concepts, and social-first content series.* Identify, vet, onboard and manage a roster of external agencies, design studios, production companies, photographers, vendors and freelancers.* Work collaboratively and cross functionally with the Social Media, Artist Marketing, Creative, PR and Integrated Marketing teams.* Make creative decisions that elevate the Fender brand and deeply our relationships with players, artists and creators world-wide.* Contribute to the global, multi-cultural expansion of the brand.* Lead, manage and mentor a blend of internal and external teams.What you need:* 7-10 years’ experience in all aspects of leadership, creative planning & strategy, concept development and execution, including art direction, brand design, digital design, print, retail / experiential, photography and film / video concepts, editing, and production.* Proven track record of ideating and producing original, branded content that has driven measurable business results.* Experience in developing and executing an editorial design strategy and an advanced understanding of what makes content engaging and successful across platforms and audiencesExperience directly leading and influencing teams in all aspects of creative concept development, strategy, planning and execution.* Experience working with high-profile artists/athletes/influencers.* Experience working in multi-cultural environments and with multi-cultural brands.* A keen ability to create work under minimal supervision, as well as package and present solutions to the wider team.
