The US has been our most recent launch, with us kicking off our operations in Chicago, New York, and Boston we have ambitious plans to expand across this wonderful land. Business success can only be achieved through forming an organization with the right people, and developing them in the right way. We are growing our FSQA team and are looking for a Specialist based in Los Angelee.
What You’ll Do At Getir
- Be part of the founding team of Getir US. Act like the company is yours. You’ll be empowered to make those decisions.
- Be responsible for training of operation employees as needed.
- Utilize existing FSQA systems, resources and corporate procedures to ensure product and process quality and Food Safety.
- Support all applicable FSQA programs and processes as per product specifications ensure food safety, regulatory compliance, product standards and customer standards are met.
- Take actions to ensure that products, processes, facilities and systems conform to FSQA standards and governmental regulations.
- Organize and participate in internal audits to monitor processes, facilities, and quality / safety systems.
- Ensure quality/food safety monitoring information is documented and kept as per quality programs and regulatory standards by completing verifications of records.
- Assure that Food Safety Programs (ex.Food Safety, GMP, Sanitation, Pest Control, Food Allergen Prevention and Control, others) are implemented and followed as mandated.
- Must gain knowledge and have a good understanding of all quality and food safety programs to be able to relate instructions to locations and conduct audits of the goods process–responsible for the well-being of all FSQA activities.
- Aid in quality and food safety issues and support locations to develop corrective actions and acts as a primary liaison on all Quality and Food Safety matters.
- Must perform as a member of management with a positive attitude and open minded.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or comparable industry experience
- 1+ year FSQA experience
- 1 year supervisory experience
- Product experience – produce, dry, dairy, meat/poultry
- Certifications – GFSI, audit experience
- Effective communication skills
