Welcome to CARES – we are a small private hospital in Hollywood that caters strictly to rescue organizations and provides high quality care to those in need. As a rescue hospital, we are closed to the general public but we pride ourselves on the work we do and we have a wonderful team of like-minded individuals that are dedicated to our purpose.
We are seeking a predominantly weekend veterinarian (you can also work additional weekdays to make this full time if desired) to see new intakes and manage our in-patients. The shift will be around 8- 10 hours with 30-60 minute lunch, but this can be flexible depending on the patient load. Typically, surgeries are not done on weekends due to light staffing. You will have at least 2 – 3 assistants and a kennel tech at your service.
The perfect candidate for this position is a currently licensed CA Veterinarian who enjoys teamwork, is passionate about shelter/rescue medicine, practices high-quality medicine, and can think outside the box. Knowledge of Cornerstone is a big plus.
